I thought this nonsense was merely a bad meme but upon further analysis it has become clear that this is in fact the manifestation of a (previously) theoretical "antimeme" that threatens to destroy the fabric of the internet itself and therefore I must stop it at all costs. . .

Emojispam is a meme in the same way ✞monotheism✞ or the English language are memes. It takes a bunch of complex, disparate elements (letters and images) and turns them into a more 👌agreeable👌, 🌌universal🌌, 🌏globalized🌏 whole.

We plan to phase out letters altogether pretty soon.
