So as I said the fbf part were nice but the tweening box-animation thing was kind of weird.

I think we all need to realize one important fact here, Wonchop was born in the ghetto, was sexually abused as a child, has only 1 nut, is a closet gay, is black, is latino, is arab, is asian, is a woman, and is handicapped. As for  my thoughts on anime... I love Akira, and yeh, thats about it. Tho the alien designs in DBZ make me hot in the pants, nothing turns me on like big muscled alien men going "RAAAAAAAARGH" as a vague background whirls by.

2. of course it's better than yours. i wouldnt know if its better than mine because i havent animated in over 3 months, as ive been spending all my time on drawing and concept, so i cant really answer that

3. why are you suddenly being the devil's advocate for wonchop/loathsome anyway, you oppose them on just about every other topic but when im involved you take their side?

3. Because once rtil or any other person who's liked a lot (jeb, gost) says something on the forum everyone blindly agrees. If they'd start to say that Adam Phillips had lost his touch and that his animation looks all choppy even though it doesn't, everyone would agree.

he might have a chance of being a better animator if he could just get over the anime influence (especially this "hentai") he likes so much or w/e
and start being original with his characters and ideas

This was the last animation i did, i tried to keep the characters expressions simple for the longer stretches to exaggerate the comical expressions during the farting segments. Twas merely an experiment.

In alot of instances Adam Phillips character animation CAN actually end up being a bit choppy. Mostly with bitey when he isn't flying around and abusing the laws of physics. In waterlollies, when Bitey slowly drops his arm to his stomach, it was QUITE choppy. However, Adam still rocks, but his forte remains badass water effects.


As for Wonchop's drawings. They suck. Hard. I'm not saying mine don't, though I do think mine are far better than his. Wonchop's character's are inredibly stiff. That's their biggest problem to me. They look so goddamn wooden. It's sad.



Gerkinman, you draw funny. Not funny bad. CLEAN YOUR LINES UP THOUGH PLEASE! I see lines being wobbly and inconsistent and crossing other lines just a bit all over the place. I like that they're loose and wacky. A plus.

Im a fan of the old rubber hose style animation back before people started applying weight and anatomy to there characters and i like the Spumco style, so my style is sort of a mix of the two. As for the messy lines, yeh, i really do need to start doing that, my tablet is hella old tho, im saving for a tablet monitor so i can be alot more precise with my lines.


As for Adam Phillips, ive been saying his character animation has been choppy at best for a while now, the difference in skill level between his background and effects and his character animation are quite huge.
