The humor is very similar. I enjoy it when I catch it on tv.

I watch quite a bit of the new TMNT, it was definitely a good show! Brought back some fond memories.

Dexter. That show is also CURRENTLY running/broadcasting the newest season.
Although, if you have never watched Dexter before, you may want to start at the first episode.

Another show that I recently watched all episodes of is Community. It's amazing, best sitcom I've ever seen.
And if you like watching 'older' stuff as well, watch Malcolm in the Middle. That one was the best sitcom I've ever seen before I saw Community.
(I consider it to be 'older' stuff cause it has been canceled more than 6 years ago)

So yeah, Dexter, Community, and Malcolm in the Middle, to sum it up.

Got another one to suggest though: An Idiot Abroad.
Karl Pilkington. Going around to see the 7 world wonders. (<-Season 1)
Finishing several items, that are generally considered to be put onto a bucket list (<-Season 2)
And finally, travel the Marco Polo Route with dwarf actor Warwick Davis tagging along. (<-Season 3)

quick question about gumball
why are they making darwin into such an asshole on season 2? i mean sure they're still blowing my mind with some of the scenes (like the hector-centered episode holy shit) but idk, just seems like he was a more interesting counterpoint to the other characters in season 1

i think sometimes gumball and darwin are both assholes - they're dumb little kids and they're kind of selfish. if anything, gumball is more of an asshole than darwin, because darwin usually wants to do the right thing. but it doesn't really bother me. the only episode where i thought it ruined it was when they were nagging larry and ended up ruining his life.

gumball has always been the kind of lovable asshole we've seen in other shows so when he takes it a bit too far it's not as shocking to me
it's just that darwin kinda started acting differently in season 2. puberty? <EAT MEAT>

anyway yeah, aside from a couple of episodes (like the one you mentioned and the one where they destroy banana joe's things for no reason), it's not that distracting
