So. How did you get/come up with your username?
Mine is just my initials with a few random numbers that stuck

my first nickname was FlashFirer.
i wanted to make flash cartoons and be just as cool as LegendaryFrog! I liked casting Fire in Final Fantasy! this was fourth grade.

now i shortened it to 'flash' because it's a neat little normal-sounding username. still not a wise pick, considering i'm using it on a community of flash animators (although these days it's not so specific) and i'm pretty much the only one here who doesn't animate or even draw.

Long story:

Since elementary school I had been developing a sheep character which evolved a lot until now. For the most part she was a he and pretty much transitioned the same way I did, acting as a sort of a persona. "Sheepy" wasn't even her first name either. The very conception happened around maybe 3rd or 4th grade and I wanted to doodle a new character to fight stick figures with (yeah I know) and the first draft was "Super Sheep", a sheep-based super hero which was coincidentally just the Worms weapon of the same name except looked like a puffy elephant with a rectangular head. I didn't really know what a sheep looked like back then and I didn't bother to google things. Funny thing is, I thought that was a dumb character and didn't draw it that much. Middle School bound, the design looked more like a retarded cat with a puffy body, and the whole super hero gimmick was dropped. Middle school was really hard on me emotionally and socially for some rather obvious reasons and I kind of revolved the character around the general idea of being a public menace and arsonist psychopath. By this time I was abusing the deadly mixture of mspaint and the internet, finally crowning the title of "Captain Sheep" as my official username of choice. At this time I was using the whole thing as a scheme to troll people in an overtly offensive manner, rubbing off my inner demons brought upon by what was unknowingly dysphoria. Near end of 8th grade was when I was starting to question sexuality and gender as a whole and I stopped doing that silly internet trolling stuff, instead starting coming up with a personality, better design that looks like an actual sheep, and even supporting characters. By around this time I was sort of coming out to myself, and reflected upon that on Sheepy. Kind of sappy I know, but it's kind of true on how much of a pseudo-masculine little ass I pretended to be for the sake of other people and how I've spent the last few years trying to be the real me.

Well before all of that, the very first username I ever used was in like 1st grade on old PC FPS games being the addition of my male name and "killer", because not only was it "cool", but I could easily spell it. three years later I would come up with "cool" names in the playground to use for when playing CS 1.6. They were all one word usernames like: 'GHOST', or 'DRAGON', or 'PHANTOM', or 'DOMINATOR' (lol I know). I would come up with a new one from up to a few weeks to perhaps only three days. Kids, am I right?

Generally, if I can't use "Sheepy" in some place or another, with my disdain of adding numbers or X's, I usually deviate by using names like "Sheepy-Apples", "Sheepiez", "Captain Sheep", "Princess Sheepy", etc.

my last name is dailey, in which most people spell it without the e. when going on a long tangent in middle school about that, i went on to say something like "It's not that hard, it's D-I-L- shit" and thus the name dilly stuck. I added the dillybar for a little added flair, but then realized there were more dillybars on the internet than i thought.

as far as the current username i use everywhere else now, when returning to tba in like, 2009/10ish, everyone kept rhyming my name. so of course, willy was one of those options. I can't remember who it was exactly, but they said "dilly is a willy" and i thought, "welp, why not use that instead"

Pixmintro is from Lenko who used to make fake proper names out of ix like "Casey Pixmintro", "Brian Fixintro", I can't really remember anymore. But yeah I liked Pixmintro cuz also for some reason shit tons of people thought Ixintro was Lxintro cuz fonts

Sheepy was brave enough to post something personal, so I might as well. Mine's pretty embarrassing, but only because of how terribly dumb it is (and long holy shit I didn't mean for it to get this way sorry)

I grew up in the town of Sunrise, FL on a street named Sunset Strip. Since dusk was often when I would have the most time to play, I grew to love that time of day. Eventually I moved from Florida to New Jersey, completely unprepared for the cold and the lack of friends and being cooped up inside all day on shitty MMOs like Conquer Online. I started developing a sort of bi-polar/manic depressive disorder and began taking medication for it. I alternated from having happy delusions of grandeur, to incredible bouts of self-loathing, to complete indifference to the world.

It was around this time I came up with my first original character...basically me, only with disgustingly mary-sue levels of power. He embodied everything I thought was SUPER COOL AWESOME at the time: Trench Coat, AA-12 Full-auto Shotguns, Half Angel Half Demon/Dragon, a bajillion swords and knives, and mastery over light and dark magic. He was constantly at war within himself, not because of mental illness but because of his heritage. Rather than come up with a name for him I just decided to call him the Twilight Prince and adopted that as my screen name, Twi or TP for short.

Then Twilight, Twilight Princess, and Twilight Town from Kingdom Hearts all came into the picture. Suddenly Twilight was a stupid buzzword and everyone gave me shit for being unoriginal, and thought calling me Twilight Princess would be funny because of how "gay" my screen name sounded.

The only thing I did steal was Kingdom Heart's system for naming a "Nobody", a person's empty shell left after their heart has been consumed by darkness. You re-arrange the letters in their name and stick an x in it somewhere. I gave Twi a Nobody, Gilthwixt. I thought it sounded dark and edgy, like Gilgamesh or some shit. His origin is that Twi somehow separates his dark half from his light half, DBZ Kami & Piccolo style. When I got sick of people poking fun at my screen name I adopted Gilthwixt as the permanent replacement, Gil for short.

Despite having outgrown the origins (that I only recently stopped cringing at the thought of), I still use it because it's guaranteed to never be taken, and because I'm too lazy to adopt/come up with a new one.
