chrome experiments - awesome browser experiments to play around with , work best in chrome. presumably made with html5 and js.

here are some of my favorites:
100,000 stars. you can zoom all the way in to our sun, all the way out to the galaxy. the tour at the top left is a good place to start

walk in a fog. semi-interactive music video

hexgl. simple racing game

find any other cool ones or find /make something cool in one , post it here

Nice stuff; the 100,000 Stars one is pretty cool. I love little gimmicky toys like these.

These do look like fun. Guess I'll have to install Chrome afterall.

The first ones I'd ever seen were The Wilderness Downtown and Lights and I still find them impressive.

I'm fairly certain these are just HTML5 experiments and don't necessarily need Chrome, right?

rtil

yeah you dont necessarily need chrome. they might work on ff. maybe opera and ie10 too. but probably not as well.

those are better than any visualizations ive seen in a media player..kinda wish i could have them outside the browser

Yeah, the fact that messing with the settings provides so much variety, and that you can add your own music, makes me want a stand alone client for parties.
