Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Opening (OP) - English Subbed

High school freshman Yūta Togashi was once a "chūnibyō patient" i.e. an overly self-conscious middle schooler. He wants to bury this embarrassing past and begins a new life in high school -- unsuccessfully. His classmate Rikka Takanashi, a "current" chūnibyō patient, has found traces of residual symptoms on him and used the fact to force Togashi "making a contract" with her.

this anime is made by Kyoto animation (Nichijou, K-On!, Lucky Star). so far 3 episodes have been subbed. at first i was skeptical - the pilot introduces Yuta and Rikka, and at first Rikka seems annoying but she's developing into a more interesting and likeable character.

it is a bit moe but i haven't seen too many animes like it so i don't find it annoying. so far i'm enjoying it most for the humor and animation. i have no idea where it's going but that should be the fun!

Yupp, that was basically reason enough for me to start watching it. It was actually recommended to my by my Japanese flatmate and while it hasn't been exceptional so far, I like the ideas as well as the slapstick elements and the animation is great as always.
