alright folks. here is the animatic for KENJI katawa shoujo flash. this is not an instafeels, it is a mock trailer with kenji as the focal character. it takes place right after any kenji 'bad ending' in KS, where hisao accidentally falls off the roof in a drunken stupor. let me know what you think! this will probably take me 2-3 weeks. i'm going to do a full fledged video for this one, i will take it into AE and do some post work on the entire thing, so the final format will be video only.

LMAO Okay you finally did something that not only gave me goosebumps but cracked me up and made me say WOW Yes! It's all animatics right now but the music and timing and use of imagery made me wake up and really LOOK at the piece as it unfolded. Very nice! Also haha on the "no feels are safe". ....now this is a parody I can appreciate "feminist killbot" yay!

i looked up adam syringe and it appears quite similar. i have never played bioshock before so i wasn't aware. i was looking up "scary medical syringe" on google images and kinda pieced together my favorite looking hardware.i guess i mostly modeled it after one from a video game. it's really cool though.

I don't know anything about these insta feel katawa thingo majiggo's, what it's based off or whatever. I know little to nothing about anime, however it's just good seeing you animate

nah, but i suppose it is pretty much unavoidable at this point for a typical gamer to see a bonesaw and compare it to a tf2 item. but that was not my intention.

katawa shoujo is a visual novel , like an interactive storybook.. think goosebumps but instead of horror stories it's about life and love, stuff like that. i thought it sounded stupid too but then i read it and loved it.

but one of my main goals for these was that people who didn't know what it was would get some kind of enjoyment out of it, so i try my best to make them entertaining. because it's a pretty niche audience that i'm aiming at.

2/5. working on cleaning emi's keys. lilly's here was extremely complicated mostly because of her fucking hair . if you watch it too long you can see all the errors. fortunately it goes by really fast and i'll be adding special fx to it in post that will make them less obvious. still i'm happy with how it turned out

no i do not use references when i animate, unless you mean for the characters or objects. sometimes i keep images of them off in the corner so i make sure i get their looks right
