While I don't know exactly why filesonic made the change, from what I'm hearing a lot of websites have changed in some [bad] way after this megaupload event. Chances are it's more of a precautionary measure, at least until things cool down a little bit.

Well, that's true... he surely has a lot of charisma and some of the things he says are true but most of his theories are nothing but pure exaggeration. He certainly did fuel me up, though, as I started an argument with my linguistics university teacher about a completely unrelated topic right after posting my previous message but I think just the fact that it does seem to affect people so much although most of it is bullshit makes it a little creepy...

most of these deleted a shitton of accounts and files, blocked US users, stopped partner memberships, limited downloads to your own files, and whatnot, meaning that they are pretty much unusable
