your dream/goal

as i've gotten older and less motivated and realized i dont qualify for alot of the things i wanted to achieve, my goals have become more and more humble as time as gone on.

ie

original goal: work for a big studio like pixar or dreamworks. produce a movie based on characters i came up with.

got older. that became: get a job at any studio. publish a comic book.

got older. that became: make art for money somehow. make a webcomic.

now: make art. get out of bed. stay somewhat well-groomed.

future: get out of bed.

the odds of gaining employment in such studios are small anyway. you're better off focusing on your own ability and maybe turning it into your own indie company. i've always been a strong believer that everyone has the potential to live off their own creativity, you just got to be persistent and always visualize what you want to achieve. just because you get older and it hasn't happened yet, doesn't mean that it should dishearten you on your quest to become what it is you want to be. qualifications are absolute bullocks, you do not need a piece of paper to be successful in this world. you need to believe in yourself, and when you do other people will also believe in you too. goes for anyone here, there's shit loads of talent on this forum so don't let it go to waste, pick up from where you left off and start believing you are worthy.
