nonzop i think it's just that a lot of us have been hearing people "talk like black people" for a long long time on this and other forums that a lot of us were a part of (the start syndicate, for example). at one point almost all of us thought it was funny to do so (probably). and some members' entire internet persona was based on it (sevenstar, chrome-, and tons of other members who ripped those people off). i'm sure that it was still kind of funny when you started to adapt it to how you talk but at this point it's tired and i think we'd all be happier if we just spoke like normal people

and on a side-note, you\\\'re not the only one who does that, so singling you out is not really fair. though i\\\'m pretty sure that the SS and TBA both in general dislike each other now, TBA started with a lot of old SS members who carried over their old traits, which were then mutated by the sheezy and deviantart crowd that was there and had their own "speech customs". over the years of the two dialect influences we finally came to this TBA speak which is less funny and too serious to be star syndicate banter but not thought-out or average enough to be generic internet speak. in general. this place tries to make edgy jokes but isn\\\'t as full-out offensive as the SS, and it also tries to be friendly and understanding and sort of normal. but it is still too alienating for the common person to understand/enjoy. some could say that this makes it unique and cool, but usually it\\\'s just kind of annoying
