Thanks! Yeah, the gloves I'm making for now will be fingerless because I haven't got my head around stitch heights with each hook size, so making fingers that will fit properly is currently out of my skill range. One day though, one day.

I made a hat! It has a ribbed band, and the body of it is done with puff-stitches in the round which was then slip-stitched to give a sorta star-shaped closing thingy. /unimportant-facts

so after a stupidly long time filled with self-poisoning and moving between towns, I have more crochet things to show you.
Like this new hat:


it's meant to be 'slouchy' but either;
1) the pattern maker's head is tiny/my head is freakishly large or;
2) I've put too much tension on the yarn and made it too tight.

it cinches closed with a nice thread with beads
