come on it wasn't that bad after we saw the infamous 2 gameplay at gametrailers.
this link, explain that cole will change the look another time in infamous 2 but to be more similar to the original character from infamous 1.

Cole was a bland as hell looking character and he sounded like he has smoked a million cigarettes. So they changed that and what happens? They're now going to rework his appearance to make him more similar to how he looked in the first game. Despite the fact he looked meh in the first game, it's pretty fucking weird for a character to drastically change so much in appearance for a sequel so it's probably a good idea they're going to at least make him similar in appearance to how he looked in the first game. Hopefully he'll still have hair in inFAMOUS II. Personally, I didn't really care for the first inFAMOUS game and I think it was overrated as hell so I'm probably not going to get the sequel.
