cool stuff in your hometown

my hometown is known for the steel mill. it's no longer operational, but during the WWI and WWII era, it was the largest producer of steel in the world, and most of the large cities, military ships, and airplanes were made with steel from this factory. If the pics look familiar to you, its because they filmed a scene from Transformers 2 here.
post something cool in your hometown. it doesn't have to be a huge monument, it can be anything: a park, a museum, maybe a cool graffiti spray somewhere etc

There use to be a Bethlehem Steel plant hear in buffalo n.y. too. Not much amazing hear though. As the united states' most racially divided city and 2nd poorest city, theres nothing. Before the depression, Buffalo was the place to be next to ny city and san francisco. I hate buffalo.

in my town there used to be a condensery where they made milk and other milk stuff (hurr)

after a while it was demolished but for some reason they decided to keep the huge smokestack

it can be seen from almost anywhere in town

The Leveque Tower is pretty cool. There's a long story as to what it was built for, but now it's just office space.



the coolest thing about it is at night, it's lit up, and during certain events/holidays, they change the colors for the lights
