I have some 100+ year old books, but most of them are in storage in protective cases so i just pulled out one. figures this one is the least impressive.

Here's some old jewelry! some of them go back to the 20s, but most are from the 40s (so i'm told).

i also have a bunch of old pennies (with the one cent on the back, most from the 30s, some canadian and mexican ones from the 70s), half dollars, and some other odd currency from canada, france, malta (pre-euro), philippines and hong kong. but my camera can't zoom in on detail. because my camera is actually a phone.

also my family would collect really old radios (my father was a real radio nut). The oldest one he's renovated is one from 1921:

this thing comes up to my elbow. i'm not exaggerating. it's huge. it's not in my room but i think it's pretty cool.

Neat! I love WWII suff... my late grandpa had a hat from the old days in his wandrobe as well which should still be there if I am not completely mistaken... Someday I may ask my grandma to take it with me...
I'm not a nazi sympathiser, actually I'm pretty much the opposite but those hats really had class imo.
Shouldn't wear it in publuc, tho.

My Grandfather was A solder for Poland but was captured by the Russians (Soviet). He was told that he would be killed if he did not join the Russian army. He joined. It was horrible. It was so bad that his friend committed suicide. After the war he was set free. My grandfather is dead 20 years this month. I never met him.
