Flash cs5

im testing it out now and so far its much less laggy/crashy/awful than cs4

the layout is pretty simple although im pretty sure if i didnt know what half this shit was already i wouldnt understand it
they have a lil drop down menu with different layouts based on what you're prefer (essentials, classic, animator etc) that's pretty neat

lmao they have this one tool that you can paint premade buildings with what the hell

oh god they have a whole set of gimmick tools. one of them animates fire for you, one makes lightning, one makes trees etc
thats so silly but awesome at the same time

anyway yea so far this isnt so bad we'll see though

is there more work area space in this one scrib? CS4 was cluttered as fuck and one of the 1,000,000 reasons i fucking hated it

I dont think i could ever go back to using anything other then duel screens for that very reason.

i always end up making my own layouts to make them as minimal as possible. i like the sidebars where you click on an icon and a menu expands from that. more workspace for sure

Oh my... another bunch of additional useless bullshit... but some of it sounds pretty nice...
I will most likely end up testing it, though, convincing myself of how bad it really is, probably realize that it's gay and then decide to stick to cs3... flash got gay when they tried to establish that new tween system and the layout of cs4 was a bloody hell...

I can understand a lot of old people, keeping their old things. Clothes, shoes, furniture, ect. are a good example. Old people refuse to run to Ikea and spend their money on modern furniture or go buy som modern clothes because they mostly have plenty of old stuff that still serves its purpose - or even more like that... Many things, made back in the days when our grandmas were young are hand made. Quality things that are not as cheaply fabricated as most things made nowadays are. Old things are not always better but mostly they have been made with more effort, consist of better material and are much more rubust that the shit underpaid Chinese children produce in gigant manufactures.

Progress can be good but it isn't always worth trashing your old coat over a new one because it has one button more.
The only thing that the new flash versions since Flash 8 have brought are a few redundant gadgets that most of us never use anyway and a filesize that is ten times as big as the previous version's one. I keep wondering why I didn't stick to 8 and switched to CS3 anyway...oh, right... the file format being the root of problems on collaborations...
Anyway, the worst thing is that Adobe completely reuses the old programs structure, adds some small redundant shit, changes some colors and a few layout details, creates a new fla format that none of the old Versions can open and sells it as a completely new product.
