ok I've sort of been looking for advice on art and stuff lately so i figured" hurp a durp why don't i post some stuff on tba". so I figured i'd start a "dump" style thread.

to start of with here is a few sketches from a few days or weeks ago i don't really remember all i wrote is the last 2 digits of the year on it.

i really liked this painting(Saturn Devouring His Sons, by Goya) when my art history teacher showed it to the class during a lecture on art and beauty. so for my next sketch is going to be a version of it, focusing on the mythology, although Goya's painting was more to relate the myth to the event's of his time period.

the knight's torso seems disproportionately long
in the first picture the attempt at perspective didnt really work and the arm seems way too short

emanhattan

hmm the part that really bugs me is the short arm of that knight in the first one and the small waist in the second one. it looks "accidental"

protip: more time practicing anatomy and less time practicing your signature

The 1st one needs more depth. The sword, arms, legs etc.
