before this trailer the only thing i really remembered about this movie was that at the end of every trailer it would have the guy laughing and saying "oh ho ho, despicable me..."

that always annoyed me.

The "inheritance or taking care of kid(s) that ends up becoming close and important to the stone-hearted main character and circumstances end up bettering everyone in the story" thing is going to annoy me when I see it, as it's in a lot of movies I've seen, but the rest of it looks fun and I look forward to it.

i would love it if he was just cold to them the entire movie, like still gave them what they wanted from time to time, but still just was a total non-parent to them, but considering its a family movie, NO.

i remember seeing a poster for this one of my old teachers had done and wondering what the hell the movie was about. it was an image of him on the rollercoaster with the 3 girls. kinda creepy when you don't know anything about the main character
