Most influential + most overrated would definitely have to go to the Halo series.

I wouldn't call them good at all (the gameplay SUCKS), but in terms of being a trend setter in the industry (inaccurate weapons, slow moving/simplistic multiplayer, grenades + grenades + melee attacks, emphasis on pretty eye candy, and shitty+ flattened level design) it's been copied over and over again by other studios.

Best game of the decade would go to Half Life 2, imo

I disagree with dis^
I really liked halo games the campaign in halo 1 is pretty entertaining and fun and the multiplayer in 2 was pretty fun to play if you had friends with another xbox.
Sometimes me and some kids at my junior high played with 4 xbox at a time (16 players shooting the place up)

I couldnt talk about most overrated games since I only play good games
