Part of not being lonely is being heard, and the internet is a faster supplicant for human interaction.  So joining a forum and posting gives one the feeling "Hey people know I exist"

i do agree there needs to be another mod. just one more. i'm not sure who it's going to be and whether i will make the choices private or public. i think shadowfox does a good job, he does more work than most people think. sometimes i come to the boards in the morning and see that he has closed some topics or deleted posts and they're decisions i would have made myself. but we do need someone else, preferrably a european who is online when people in the US are asleep and aren't available.

i have changed the animation/collab forum into entertainment discussion. upload & show now encompasses collabs as well. i will ask that collab threads go in there now.

i like yings ideas about frontpage art. as i have been doing with some albums, i've been showcasing stuff on the front page. both albums have received over 200 downloads, so obviously art would get more exposure as the pics would load instantly. someday far off from now when i've converted TBA into a full-on community, i would like to have a feature like that. one thing i've wanted to do is have "recent art uploads" on a sidebar, but i don't know how to implement it.

i will not be adding a validation forum. i think half the members here who are great now would have never gotten a chance on their first day.

I do like the large cool glowing rings! They're smooth and relaxing IMO
I would consider maybe changing some of the other icons as well then for a fresher look for us members

i will never reopen nachos, sorry. i dont understand why some of you want it back so bad anyway. none of you ever posted in it and if you did it was generally spam. imo the board was worse than general.

as far as the login info overlapping, it should be better now. i removed two links that are no longer necessary. in the future i'll make sure that they don't overlap. if i can't because of the amount of links, i'll just make a new bar underneath them
