something a little different.. i've gotten into web design as it pays well and here's one of my latest things, working on a myspace band profile. apparantly it's in high demand - since myspace's code is so horrendously layed out, bands pay a lot of money for designers to fix it up. i know enough to wade through the shit code and make something half decent. this isn't layout done yet and has some bugs in IE but i like it so far.. all of the elements are based on what the band asked for, including fonts. i've been spending all day on it - half graphics, half wrestling with bizarre myspace css. i swear to god whoever put together myspace just didn't give a shit. there is so much uncessary, bloated code it's unbelievable. http://www.myspace.com/bracketthree

myspace is not a drag and drop site - it offers just about nothing when it comes to customizing a band page. what they leave you with is a horrible layout with billions of tables embedded in eachother and broken css. if you want to change it, you have to code the whole thing, and in a very non-conventional way.

unfortunately i had to use css hacks to get this layout done.. IE can't understand the attribute html>body so it ignores it, allowing real modern browsers like ff and safari to understand them. it is done today, it looks like it's supposed to in IE and FF. some minor quirks in safari, but at this point i could care less. i've gotten 2 more offers to do other band layouts, i figure it's worth the money. and each one i do i'll only get better at it, and hopefully be able to start copying and pasting code to find more efficient ways to make something from these horrible myspace templates

But I'm skeptical to that guys arm. It looks like he broke a joint there. I know this is something you can do with animation of certain styles but in my opinion it doesn't suit your style since yours is a bit more realistic.
