ng art portal coming soon

i got an e-mail this morning asking if i wanted to upload/test the art portal

so far there's only been a few on it, here's the good and the bad so far

good:
you can create a thumbnail for your art with a crop tool, very useful
you can choose a creative commons license
there doesn't seem to be a filesize/filetype limit atm, png accepted (for once)
tag system (why not for flash cartoons already?)

bad:
limited categories (illustration, fine art, 3d art, pixel art and "other")
same review/rate system as the portal..i think this is stupid
small view can be kind of squished, but that will probably be fixed in the wide layout
..we're gonna see some baaaaaaaaaaaaad, bad art

i'm sure they'll launch it prematurely so look for it soon
