Looking at the error and seeing ATIblahblah.dll as the error I think you might want to check the laptops mfg page and see if they have a more recent video card driver. Or hit up these guys. I'm guessing you have a Radeon HD 2600 or a Radeon 92XX. This BSOD seems to be common when running Win XP, DX9 and intensive video things (like Flash).

General / Gayass keyboard problemo
October 8, 2009 04:33 AM
From what your describing it seems as if the springy rubber thingy (for lack of me knowing what it's actually called) over that letter of the keyboard is ripped / worn out. Either that or some shit is in between the keyboards membranes causing a constant connection only disrupted by hitting it. My recommendation is hit up eBay or Craigslist (if the UK has that) for a new internal keyboard but not pay more than £14 (roughly $22 USD) for it. Also, see if someone before you has replaced a keyboard in your make in model via Google. That should tell you if there is a ribbon cable you need to be looking out for or if it has some sort of hot swap plug. The same page might give insight as to how easy or difficult it is to get the keyboard out. Bad news is since it does sound like it is a hardware level issue, laptops are a bitch. Even within manufacturers I have seen that laptops are usually proprietary and do not swap parts.

As for the using a USB keyboard from what you described. You could do that but to disable the keyboard I'm sure you have to disconnect the internal ribbon cable. Again, Google the make and model. (I know I'm useless.)

Lastly if it's a Crapple MuckBook or a Fushitsu LifelessBook, ditch it. It'll be more of a headache than it's worth.

I once had a pilonidal cyst. It grew to the size of a basket ball. Then one fateful day someone sat next to me with a safety pin sticking out of their bag. They accidentally popped the cyst and... OH MAN!!! Did that shit stink?

Introductions / Hello Everyone
September 25, 2009 01:34 AM
Hello everyone. I followed a couple of other accounts from NG here. I actually started reading things here months ago and will more than likely only chime in once in a great while. I'm trying to pick up things as I read these forums that will help with Flash. I don't have any unrealistic expectation that I'll be spewing out beautiful cartoons in a month or anything like that. Anyhow, I think that's enough for now. Farewell.

God damn it why did I forget to post here first?

Here is my rather horrible contribution to Red M's house of drawings.

I think the draft could use something on the Left and the Right. You have all that dead gray space there. I think if the users could customize that dead space with some sort of pattern either a violent red to hot pink pattern, cool blue to electric blue pattern or maybe even forest green to Kawasaki green pattern it could make the page so much more. Something, anything, to kill the dead space. Another idea, allow the user to upload their pic or select one from the TBA library to set as the background image. Then hat could be pasted on the sides.

I'm sure being a new poster and all this will be highly taken into consideration. I will wait with bated breath.
