Pretty nifty~ I didn't really recognize the Tetris tune 'til near the end of the first listen, but I kinda hear it now that I'm playing it again!
some glaring anatomical errors here. for one, her left arm is shorter than her right arm. even the longer right arm is a tad too short to be anatomically correct. her breasts are very uneven, and it looks like her thighs attach to each other at the top instead of attaching to a pelvis. the knees are too skinny as well

i don't think your drawings are all that bad. but i think they could use a lot of improvement. the line quality is really shaky to start. try making broader, more confident strokes, instead of a lot of tiny ones. use a minimal amount of shading, then smudge it with your finger to give it a softer look. use an art gum eraser after to erase the smudges you don't want and create more volume

I had a quick look at a picture of a bird for the anatomy but the highlights I did on my own. Once I start drawing for a while (hour or so), I start to feel the flow and then good stuff comes out like this. But that requires time and I dont have alot of time because of school.

Ok so I decided to work with some better synths then what come with fl. This is a remake of my older song (http://www.thebackalleys.com/dump/files/1667/4901Ex_07%20-%20%5BTLM%5D%20The%20King%20Of%20The%20Clocks.mp3) King of the Clocks. I lost the original file so I compleatly remade it.
I also used an Amiga 64 8-bit plug-in to get the wisping sound. Next I'm going to be working with some older 'tracker' style software with only analog synths.

ive noticed your digital lines are quite scratchy, which usually is the result of using a 1 pixel brush
try painting at a bigger resolution/size and then downsizing it for uploading on the web (eg a 1200x1200 pic will actually be painted at 2400x2400)
the transformer's feet are on different planes which is nice but i can't tell whats going on in that pic at all

Yeah, epic hot-rod was just an epic failure. Thanks to your 2400x2400->1200x1200 I shall do better.
it's not so much the 1x1 size but the fact there's no AA on it , either that or the picture was shrunk down using nearest neighbor instead of bicubic. the lines are just too sharp

I do sharpen my pencil bi*ch(i say that very loosely). I updated my firmware for my printer and ran it with linux to make the scan bigger via configuring the input code in which was not compatible with windows.

that white glare is a little overdone, grabs too much attention aaway from the art. try using colors other than white for glow though.. white washes out colors instead of illuminating them

For a collage art class in a high school it really sucks big stuff 'cause i have better references then what the teacher has in her class. I taught more to my friends this class then the teacher. The head looks flat and I'm confused about the character's balance, though, if you can call it that. Floating-in-space aside, I can't tell if he's supposed to he putting his weight on his toes/balls of his feet (because his feet look awkward; trying to do pigeon tippy-toes?) or he's gonna fall backwards because of the way he's standing.

I like the backgrounds before you start covering them up with your building shapes
that top one with the buildings - there's not enough contrast between the buildings and the sky, seeing as you used black in both. unless you're going for a stylized/simplified kind of thing (which would rely more on contrast), you're probably best off never ever using pure black for sky

if you don't like to draw feet , you can just draw those giant techno boots on everyone that look cool. buuuuuuuut if you want good practice, i recommend reference. legs and feet and putting them together while making them work well is not easy to do, it takes a lot of practice.

honestly i don't think you seem comfortable with facial anatomy yet, especially with all these eye covering haircuts you give your characters. it's always been a very easy and noticeable 'shortcut'

you wanna stay away from the dodge/burn tool (at least that's what it looks like?)
if you're not doing that, you're shading with black, which is a pretty bad idea. for your shade tones you need to be picking out colours that can add value to the base colours, blending black makes things look murky/muddy
i started with black but thats a part of the process.. This is very vague..

Well the biggest problem is my computer. It is old (11 years old) Sai work really great (no lag) but after a while it slows the entire computer down and Boom.... computer crash. ever since i got first tablet, i have coloured so great.

Yeah I'm going to be honest, the most annoying thing ever is when you find this awesome image you want to use as your wallpaper and then along the bottom is all this copyright text and/or the artist's deviantArt (etc) account and/or the artist's email, and so on.
Sure these things are copyrighted anyways, but I don't understand the need to put it on any image at all unless it's so amazing that there is a possibility that somebody may actually steal it for something, which is probably less than 1% of art on the internet in general. This isn't generally directed at you terry, but at everyone.

Have you looked into learning how to make discreet, transparent watermarks?
Examples of what I mean:
Empyrisan's gallery is filled with 'em... - http://empyrisan.deviantart.com/gallery/ (http://empyrisan.deviantart.com/gallery/)
and the dA watermark is kinda obnoxious with the 2 watermarks(?) already there, but it gets the idea across - http://sakimichan.deviantart.com/art/Tree-Light-193865475 (http://sakimichan.deviantart.com/art/Tree-Light-193865475)
...And also, as the above also demonstrates in example, if you're that afraid of your works being stolen, there's also the option of shrinking your stuff down some so you'll always have the huge, original copy (and I know this (http://fenryk.deviantart.com/art/Bayonetta-Vigrid-Stroll-172126683) is sold at cons as prints; the big, "in person" size of this piece is much prettier and leaves more of an impression than the dimensions seen here). Personally preferred over something like "save in a clearly disgusting format so you'll be the only one with the pretty format".
imo there is no reason to be afraid of your work being stolen. slapping giant watermarks on your art is stupid, even the smallest art thieves pretty much always get caught and taken care of - there's always someone out there who will recognize stolen art and spread the word.

you shouldn't frequently draw the same looking bodies all the time imo. i would try drawing from reference for awhile and practicing more, then try to develop your own bodies/style.
in my own experience i never got anywhere just randomly drawing people on my own. learning from other artists (not copying them. i shouldn't have to stress this but i will) and life in general is important. otherwise your drawings will come out flat.

lol 1 thing i never did EVER was copy. Ive gotten pretty far with my own style but its not even good yet.. 1 good thing about drawing the same body is that you can free-draw a character anytime anywhere.. Thank you for your input btw. It helped a bit

edit: and for something constructive, I have an opinion in regards to the text. The fonts looks a little pixely. I feel like a smooth font would compliment something like that background a bit better. The font you have now is fine, but would look better smoothed out [as I just said].
I also agree with Sin about the bottom text. I would say to lose it completely but I doubt you want to do that as explained earlier in this thread. I'm trying to think of what could be done to make it look better, but nothing is really coming to mind, so I can't complain. I would suggest making the bottom text a little smaller, but I'm not sure if that would help.

it's not an issue of being lazy. you just have to plan ahead. lightly sketch out your drawing before you do it. find the line of action, the center of gravity, get a sense of balance. try the pose in real life, look up some reference.
i preplan, I just cut corners ect. THe next big thing i'm going to be working on IS life drawing. I'll get some nice poses out of that.

but i do like the second pic. next time keep your sketch layer from your color layer that way they don't clash. kind of hard to see what you did with the colors with all the skeletal markings and what not.

the image on the left shows that the character's back is arched when following the flow with the hips. This gives it that leaning look we always talk about. now, the image on the right was modified so that the hips aligned with the shoulders, allowing the spine to flow comfortably while still retaining that female s figure you were trying to accomplish.
i'm not an expert in the subject matter, but i think you'll have less balancing issues if you try to align the shoulders of your character relatively to where that character's hips are.
(i also hope this makes sense :I)

Regarding the weird pose(s), it's the wonky anatomy that's getting me. Keep in mind that there's a fine line between style and misconceptions, and though there're a couple ideas on what style itself means, as a whole, it shines more when you know what you're doing, so get a better idea of the "rules" of anatomy. That way, when you bend them (not break them), our eyes will be more drawn to how your pieces are (theoretically, stylistically) meant to be seen and less drawn to the "mistakes".
In example, the first things that my eyes were drawn to were the neck and shoulders. Why? The ribcage is turned one way, while the character's left shoulder/arm is... Seemingly disconnected/dislocated from its socket as it's closer to the viewer than the other arm. The neck doesn't look as turned as you're trying to do; If anything, it looks like it's sprouting out diagonally from the body/chest instead of connected to or arching from the spinal chord. In a way, the head/neck/arms are from one body and the rest are from another and they're fused together in a strange way.
While we could take it a step further and talk about the awkward poses in terms of balance (ex: everyone looking like they're falling), I think it's best that you work on the anatomy end first so the rest can follow. Besides, that's POSSIBLY a planes thing.

i say it does a lot of good. i lost interest in drawing, but when i started life drawing my skills improved drastically and rapidly. focus on life drawing and just being able to construct the human form. after you can actually draw well, style will just come naturally. it's good to have a good foundation before you start fucking with stylistic shit though.
that's my artistic advice.

when you do life drawing, you should just sign upfor a life drawing class. drawing from pictures is OK but it is nowhere near as beneficial as the real thing

definitely some improvements there for you. as the body goes down though the proportions get larger, make sure you're always looking at the pose as a whole while you work on the smaller parts to keep things right. i'd also not worry about shading until you get the entire body down in line first, and obviously you didnt get that far here.

I can dinally see a sense of balance in these except the snowboarding one. I think the most solid one is the first one.

your art is getting better but the proportions still need work and it can get a bit scribble in some places. you still need to sharpen your pencil more ;)
Indeed so v.v . I never knew it was so goddamn hard to find a decent sharpener that didn't eat pencils. To wound an artist, take away his sharpener xD

Concerning the first one you posted of these sketches, I'd say the pose of the figure in the first one seems to look quite unbalanced, perhaps as if they're about to fall backwards. In particular, I feel this is implied with the allocation of the abdomen in contrast with the bent legs. Still, given this is in early stages, I'd imagine this'll probably be meliorated as you progress.

It will all be fixed as I progress. In general, I will be working on more poses and such, so don't you all worry! ;)

i think it looked better without color.. also her breasts would not be pointing down at the viewer from that angle, we'd be seeing more of an "underboob" perspective.. google image that and you'll see what i mean

while i do like the exaggerated proportions of the suits they are in, make sure you watch the body proprtions. like the girls' butt int he 2nd one seems to be absolutely enormous. i mean.. it's ok if you're in to that, but it just feels off.
other than that you are improving quite a bit. you should go over some of these a 2nd time and try your hand at clean lineart for color.

I kinda spazzed out on the second one with her ass, since I really never drew a side-view of a person before ^^; . I'll go over these two tonight and see what I can do. Maybe i'll fix the ass in the second one. Thanks for your input :)
(EDIT) also, is there any reason why the images wont work with the img tag? It worked with all the other images that i post here before, and I didn't do anything different since then.
I've been working on this the past few weeks here and there since I am in a bit of a music-making slump. This is not finished, but I was able to put a TON of work into it. It aint easy working on an older computer, but I do my best. Please let m know what you think! :D
