i was actually expecting something warmer with white and red.

now that colors are the current subject... rtil, have you ever tried experimenting with flat colors? i know you like painting more, but i'm curious to see with what you can do with contrast-y neon colors / limited color pallets. similar to these styles. it would make my day if i saw something like that from you.

i'd say my palette was fairly limited for this piece , i guess if you mean more of a sense where you can only use solid colors and no tones of them in a more graphic style, i don't know, it doesn't really suit me. i prefer to paint and blend. but in general i try to keep my palettes in mind when painting and not use too many colors, and only use ones that stand out where it counts, like on the eye in this piece.
