thank you. now that i think about it, i think i spent more time on this painting than any other i've made in my life. it wasn't easy, i become impatient too quickly and sometimes rush/shove in/ignore more details and rendering when i could go further. hell i could have spent more time on this but i wanted to finish it last night

here's an animatic for my last (?) katawa shoujo thing. warning: this is the cheesiest thing i have ever made. it's directed at the feelings many people experience after playing katawa shoujo, a vn, or any fictional story where they wish they could find what a character in a story has in real life - but they might be looking at it the wrong way. that there is someone out there for them,  but it doesn't have to be the person who is imaginary, but a person who you found because of how the story changed you. i don't think this cartoon goes that deep so obviously, in fact i think it might be too subtle. but i think it will shine through more when it is a finished product. anyway, enough of that, here it is if you dare. i don't mind feedback as long as it's constructive.

Might be a stupid suggestion because I don't know capturing media techniques and such but when it's showing the KS girls I was thinking to go along with your idea behind this flash to only show 2/3~1/2 of the KS girls faces and 100% of the 'real' girls face to portray that the KS girls aren't real but that other person for you is, therefore you see them as a whole.
Also, love the idea and the music! I can't wait until it's done :3

Although also seeing the KS's full faces yields different emotions for each person as well for w/e it is they got out of KS... I dunno my ideas are dumb

i see what you mean - it makes sense what you are saying. what might help is that when those particular scenes are finished, they will all share the same unique look, making the "real" girl feel like part of that, and then suddenly it's back in to that "real" world in the next piece. hopefully that should help with portraying that emotion. i wish the chorus was longer so i could do more with it, but unfortunately that's all i have to work with

I discovered you through KS and now that this may be your "last" project related to it, I feel kinda sad, but oh well... Can't wait to see when its done!

by last i only mean animation  , there will always be sketches and paintings of ks that i'll want to do.. the problem with ks related animation projects is that i'm simply running out of material. and i'd like to do more original animations as well - even though this particular animation is more original than the others in some respects.
