i don't see why they wouldn't. but i guess i won't know for sure until i have them in my hands. one thing i am going to change is shrink hanako a little and give her a bit more detail, she was the first one i made and i started to paint more as i did the others.

here's something a little different.. this is for the VN i've been working on for some time with a team of writers and sometimes artists. since there are a lot of backgrounds, some are inside. freehand perspective is an annoying and time consuming thing, so i decided to try 3d matte painting. i modeled the dorm the mc and his 2 roommates live in in maya, set up ideal camera angles, and took basic renders. now i'm starting to paint over them. here is the first one. i like how it turned out.

Looks great, you might wanna make the kitchen look slightly out of focus or darker to add more depth because it sort of looks right now like it's just painted on the wall instead of another room we're seeing through a hole. If that made any sense.

edit: Oh I think the tangent with the edge of the cupboard and the edge of the hole in the wall on the right (idk the proper name for that) is probably whats causing it to look flat.

yea i could do that. it's pretty close to a tangent on the edge there but not quite, but i suppose it is a little distracting.

i think it might look like that with the eye because of her eyebrow and not the eye itself, i noticed when i was painting. it shouldn't be so bad in the full colored version

usually when i draw kyubey he is dead but for composition's sake he must sit atop his harem in glory and majesty
