its not done yet, im still working on it but i haven't had the time to finish
here's what i got so far.
im still making changes to it. originally it was supposed to be a car stranded in the desert, but i decided to have it parked in the woods instead idk
i tried to exaggerate the car proportions a little but i think it ended up looking wonky

you are definitely right about the shading. im keeping the green hat, but i added some cyan to the background so that now it's even more visually assaulting

You have a really good style. Those sketches are looking good, the faceless guys figure seems awkward though. His waist also seems to be drawn lower than the height you've drawn all the other characters waists...
