Speaking of cheese

I got cannon rush today, but they left themselves wide open to a vicious 4 ling attack(was just to scout but damn did he just let them kill his probes, a pylon and a forge but he made another one in my base). I won but it took 30 minutes because of so many cannons delaying stuff but I had 4 bases and 2 macro hatches and ended up cleaning the cannons up because he started to warp shit in. He also went dt afterwords so that kind of delayed stuff a bit as well.

But yeah, the cheesers I face hardly say anything.

Too bad Goliaths don't look or sound as badass as before.  I think it was a conspiracy to get us to like the new units.
Firebats are still boss though, and actually make Hellions worthless in SP.

Firebats were always kind of bad. They're a better defensive unit but Hellions have far more utility value.

Vikings are also a good replacement for Goliaths, my only problem with them is that they don't benefit from factory upgrades.

when the cannon rush fails, 99% of them will resort to either proxy DT or void rays. easy to stop when you know it's coming

it's all some people know how to do. there's a protoss in grandmasters who pretty much only knows how to cannon rush. i forgot his name but i've seen him play. i ran into this one cheeser two games in a row, the first game i wasn't being careful enough and he proxy VR rushed me with cannons in range of my nat, the second game to my surprise he did the exact same thing even though he knew it was the same opponent again. long story short i kicked his fucking ass because i saw it.

and what did he follow up his failed void ray proxy with? DT's of course.

Been getting rushed lately losing to 2 gate zealot (my fault not preparing properly for it, had like 2 spine crawlers and slow lings)
Defended a proxy 2 gate drones destroyed the pylon he made like 5 more and I had lings at the time and zealots didn't really do much damage.

Some Random 8 pooled me and I was blindly 7rr it failed because I had to make lings to defend from his crap then was able to block the ramp with the few roaches I could make. Droned up and expanded because the lings/roaches I sent were blocked. He expanded as well but on the opposite side (metalopolis). They built tons of spine crawlers so I just got a few upgrades and made broodlords. Destroyed his other base with just one broodlord he had a ton of corrupters but I guess he missed it he also had a ton of mutas that he didn't use. Fungal'd all his crap and took out his base and buildings. I guess the extractors or the spinecrawlers still put him in the game and He made like 8 broodlords near his base so it would of took days to reach me, he sent a few mutas at me and they died to my corrupters and he left.

i fucking hate when people do this. same goes for photon cannons. makes it basically suicide to attack into unless you have brood lords or a huge army advantage. i played this zvz last night that went on for like half an hour and he did this at every expo. because of it he lost a lot of drones so i had an econ and army advantage the whole game, only to ping timeout during the final decisive battle and throw him a win he didn't deserve
