went 3-3 today in silver and lost a 3v3 game. my two teammates scored 5th and 6th, i scored 3rd. i think we were playing against an arranged team, because everything they did was very coordinated. i don't really like playing team games with random people

anyways, i lost at the end, but it was the most enjoyable match i've played so far.

what happened was is someone on the other team and myself forgot to turn off automatic restart for windows 7 updates. and we apparently live in the same timezone because we both dropped at the exact same time. we both had large standing armies and a big battle was about to happen. i can't wait to watch it and see what happened after we dropped haha

went 1-1 tonight, both random, both zerg. both played vs protoss. both mass void rays. lost the first won, won the 2nd. here's the 2nd:

not only did he mass void rays, but he built proxy pylons outside of my base trying to keep me there. for some reason he never scouted after that, so it didn't really work. but it took a while to break through

I dont know if you knew this, but when you make a creep tumour, it can spawn another creep tumour and that one can spawn one so on and so forth, you could've used this to just keep filling land with creep denying him building spots and giving yourself an additional edge. Beyond that cant say much cause i can't play zerg.

I do that all the time. It's great for seeing forces coming your way. If you ever need to clear an area, just use a detector unit to reveal the tumors. Then you just have to wait for either A: the creep to go away or B: an army of zerg coming to stop you from building there.

i didn't know that. that saves me a lot of energy with my queen in the early game

lmao you didn't? I did that in our game, i spawned 3 tumors with the queen and then built more and more with those (each tumor can just build one other, so if you go separate ways, 3 are enough)

went 2-2 today, played the most insane ZvT ever. it took a looooooooong time but i won. really good replay though, you'll see us fighting for the gold expansion for the last half of the game. what it really came down to is who could deny resources while mining and building from what was safe from the enemy. this plays out on scrap station, which is my favorite 1v1 map.

also yes, ash destroyed me in tvz with his marine/medivac blob. but then i beat him in tvp with colossi
