i dunno what to tell you i think the only rpgs ive played are persona 3 earthbound mother 3 and final fantasy 1+6 im probably forgetting something but teh

rtil

phantasy star (genesis)
shining force (genesis)
skies of arcadia (dreamcast)
grandia II (dreamcast)

Philip K Dick

thanks rtil, i've already played the remake of shining force for gba but i'll check out phantasy star. i remember there being four of them so that should keep me occupied gaming-wise for a while. ill try the others two if i can find a good dreamcast emulator.

Lauch

nulldc runs skies of arcadia , but you have to delete dc_flash_wb.bin every time you run it or it will randomly go black. just start it with a .bat that also deletes the file and you wont have any problems

next thing you know, this faggot will probably be begging for acceptance @ The Back Alleys.

altho, the back alleys is not a group, it's a forum for gay ss members to act 10x gayer.

emanhattan

rtil

yeah nulldc is the best. chankast was promising but it didn't get developed enough

lenko

breath of fire 2
grandia
<emanhattan> i remember pingu ice cream
<emanhattan> it was a better time
<emanhattan> when the penguins were cold and delicious
<emanhattan> and i knew i was gonna be
<emanhattan> consequence free

Crabarms

SNES

wildarms (Im not sure how good it was)

lunar: Lunar star story complete (its ok, voice acting is annoying I played the one for sega cd so it could be a bit better or worse)

ill probably think of more later, just I completely forgot the titles.

Sapphire

Fire Emblem 6 (GBA)
Fire Emblem 7 (GBA)

^ These games aren't exactly omg fun, but they are addicting as hell. Especially 7.

Persona 4 (PS2)
Dragon Quest VIII (PS2)

^ I liked those a lot.

Mushroomboy5

Charles Barkley Shup Up and Jam: Gaiden

i can\\\'t believe i forgot this

oh and panzer dragoon saga if you can actually find it (sega saturn)

Hnilmik

Skies of Arcadia on the Gamecube comes with a lot of extra stuff and they minimize the annoying random encounters.

Not sure if you played these games, buuttt:

Golden Sun + Golden Sun: Lost Age (Gameboy Advance)
- If you can find those.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (Nintendo DS)
- The story changes while you play so the multiple endings make sense and aren't just cop outs. After beating the game the first time around (with its admittedly annoying leveling up cap), they let you keep your demons' stats and eliminate that cap to blaze through the game faster to get the other endings and stat bonuses.

BlueScarab

Vagrant Story - still best game i've ever played.

Grandia
Grandia 2
Legend of dragoon

Umm most of these are for the ps, but they're still available if you have one, I think they're all on emulators now anyway.

You've probably already played it but fff: Chrono Cross

Apart from that, try the old dragonball games, they're neat. (I'm not kidding) They use a unique card system for "walking" and for the battles, where you have to combine different cards to make different attacks. ( Except for the two Gokuden SNES games, which are like "normal" )

NES:   Dragon Ball Z: Kyoushuu! Saiya Jin
Dragon Ball Z II: Gekishin Freeza!!
Dragonball Z III: Ressen Jinzou Ningen
         Dragonball Z: Gaiden

SNES: Dragon Ball Z Super Gokuden: Totsugeki Hen
         Dragonball Super Gokuden: Kakusei-Hen
Dragonball Z: Super Saiya Densetsu (Legend of the super saiyans)

GAMEBOY:  Dragonball Z: Gokuu Hishouden
                 Dragonball Z: Gokuu Gekitouden

The others pretty much listed most of them. I think there was also Shadow Hearts for Ps2, and some recent one about beethoven or some other musician? I don't know. Go for Inuyasha LMAO.

psi43

didn't read what everyone else posted so there might be doubles here, but

wildarms for the PSX, pretty cool game
Grandia and Grandia 2 (first one for PSX, second one for PC, they might be on different consoles as well tho)

those are the not-so-very-well-known rpgs i know of, that are still good
