Alex Jones, founder of infowars and a borderline psycho conspiracy theorist who's probably best known for thinking that the US government was preparing over 500,000 mass graves for americans in 2008 for some kind of catastrophe, thinks robert rodriguez is a government psy-op commissioned to make Machete for the sole purpose of causing a race war between hispanics and whites.

i'm not exaggerating at all. jones literally thinks that rodriguez didn't write the movie at all and the whole script is some kind of pre-determined psychological warfare.
