This game is quite popular for the way it sucks... I have never seen any ingame footage until now, though...
The gameplay looks like a kind of very shitty beta of the snes Starfox, adding the amount of furry of Starfox Adventures, replacing it with homo multiplyed by the amount of golden rings in Starfox 64. Also it looks very gay.

you can't say an art form isn't an art form, just becouse the some of the art is bad, if you look at any sort of art form you could find bad art from it. the question is more or less can video games produce good art as an artform? it's an intresting debate, i guess it's a matter of each persons personal definition of art.

If a 6 year old brat draws a picture of a dog with a face like this :-)  and a body that looks like a bad tasting sausage and legs that look like crippled toothpicks, not even showing the slightest touch of effort I can say that it's shit. In that case I don't define the relative piece of work as art.
Of course you could argue about that.
You could say that even a picture like that has a certain style and a special thing about it that makes it art or argue that basically everything created by human hands is art for things don't have to be esthetic to be called art.
In that case, even if I would take my regular dump tomorrow morning it would be a kind of art.
Should I hesitate hitting the flush now? Should I save the turd from its horrible fate? Should I buy a nice picture frame and hang it up in the living room? I could as well hail the turd and create a new cult which may be a world religion in a couple of ages...

The point is, there is so much amazing stuff out there which really deserves to be called art, that considering even the most effortless bullshit art, putting it on one level with things that would deserve this name a lot more, would be an insult for every demi decent artist. (Again, a term to argue about)
Of course the term art doesn't have to define things that look or sound nice but even kinds of art do have a certain value of originality, cerativity, are just made well or prove certain skills of the artist.


Yet, even the wise ones often are too weak to hit the flush...

I think people like rogert ebert and the rest of the bunch who dont aknowledge videogames as an artistic endeavior probably think videogames as something any idiot with a few brain cells and a computer can do and that youre going to sell a million copies of your shitty game because gamers are idiots and will enjoy it anyways
