The audio skipped around a bit for me also - mostly around the quality settings menu and the first few Freetown moments. It wasn't really much of a problem, though...

I tried it on a slightly newer computer as well. There was only one barely noticeable skip.

Rtil, to my knowledge - you haven't acknowledged my review on new grounds, which I would have no idea of knowing now even if you had, but anyways yeah terrific animation and people should stop bitching. Rtil went to the trouble to make an action packed fbf movie, so it's obviously going to be a little short and besides it's just an intro. Those complaining about how much time he spent on it should stop, he's a busy guy and he made other cartoons this year while creating this. I thought it was a good length and everything. The only thing I didn't like were the non vector backgrounds. I think you should have done everything in flash - but that's my opinion. It was a terrific animation though, and extremely polished, I liked how the beginning linked up with the ending. I extremely liked the ending how it flowed into the credits, and yeah I noticed the 3 frame at the end. I do agree with the users who said how you couldn't spot out the rtil thing on the shoe. I had no problems viewing, although I watched in on medium, I didn't dare try on high. Terrific work my friend ! ( I think ...  )

yeahhh its short but its a pretty perfect begining for the series imo its about what I imagined right with the people skating around and looking all futuristic so you just get a good feel for the environment instead of a bunch of weird info and backstory that wouldnt make impact being so early in project

i'm entirely open to criticism that poses any relevance to me
"you can do better" is kind of a slap in the face, i spent months trying to do the best animation i possibly could, and that's mostly what the cartoon is there for. i don't see why it needs to be full of intricate, well scripted dialog. it wasn't even intended for it. i'm an animator, not a writer, at least yet
i'm currently learning how to do creative writing and apply it to a series type story, and i hope that i can put it into successful dialog for the next episode, which will be completely fueled by a character's narration. i sincerely hope that you will not be disappointed by the next episode. it is just discouraging to see friends and other animators i know brush off a major project of mine with a few unthoughtful words. i'm sure you would be as well if you spent a very long time on something like that

sorry if i didn't get to responding to your review. i actually stopped reading them, so i never will. i'm glad you enjoyed it

the problem with full vector backgrounds is filesize inflation and some painting i wanted to do. there is pixelation in parts, but very momentary i hope

i can't watch the cartoon without lag even on low quality, so i was afraid that most people would experience severe lag. thankfully this hasn't been a huge problem
