trust me. stuff like that seems gold after seeing crap anime like yu-gi-oh and kappa kappa mikey.

when I was little the only anime I ever watched was dragon ball z and pokemon
I never watched other stuff because I didn't really follow/like it
later, I really liked that show case closed
i don't watch any anime now
I also don't really know anything about it but I don't think it's bad
at the same time I don't know what so great about it
to me it's just a tv show who really cares

When I was little the only anime that was ever on was DBZ, Pokemon, and Sailor moon

maybe not the people who watch tv (although that isn't always true), but to people like me i should care a lot. if anime flooded america to the point where no american animation studio could put something out that would compete, i couldn't get a job in the 2d industry unless i was working on something like team titans.

I use to watch pokemon / dbz when i was young, but I hate anime basically now. The only bit I don't mind, is the boondocks.

No, Kappa Mikey was ok, Miyazaki's awesome. I'm just tired of seeing watching it in school, then coming home and seeing it on CN (Cartoon Network). I'd be ok with seeing it now. I used to watch DBZ, Sailor Moon, and all those too, but now I can't find 'em anymore...Gundam Wing, Tenchi Muyo...all of those that used to be on Toonami...just gone...I think Teen Titans was the last thing I watched before The Boondocks, since Cowboy Bebop came to and end, and Samurai Champloo stopped coming on, and that's stopped too. During this whole school year, I got overly excited about Naruto, and I got really angry once I didn't win the headband I so deserved. I'm looking forward to the new Boondocks episodes now XD

what's there to feel stupid about? the characters rollerskate, but i don't see how rollerskates could be a predominate drive for any sort of long-term plot device. it's just something they do. no need to feel all shameful about it or whatever you're doing

i used to be a big fan of tenchi
i think my aim name explains that
and i've seen kids wear that naruto headband at my school i wanted to beat them up
it's just an impulse thing i can't help it

well of course theres skating in freetown, they were doing it in the last cartoon silly
it's just not something that drives the plot in any substantial way

Ehh I personally quite enjoy just about any well made anime. But they have to be very well made. So I like about three.
