June Hotel Party

My birthday is on June 10th. I am turning 21, and I decided I want to throw a TBA/some of my irl friends hotel party in a hotel room in Washington DC the weekend following my birthday (fri 11 overnight to sat 12, or sat overnight to sun 13). We can party in the hotel room and I can show everyone around DC if they haven't been before, maybe picnic on the mall near the washington monument or grab some coffee in dupont circle. I ESPECIALLY think it would be neat for the artists in the group to do a subway sketch where we all get on the metro and draw the passengers, and just ride around and draw people. Daniel Chiu (sp?) hosts subway sketches in Toronto and it's something I have always wanted to try.

Any east coasters or thereabouts who want to join are invited! If you want to stay a night or two longer I can possibly host a friend or two at my place the night before or whatever, depending on how well i know them.

AS AN ADDED BONUS, Salutations' birthday is on June 8th so this could be a kind of split celebration but I am not sure how comfortable she would be about meeting a bunch of people from the internet... but I will definitely ask her!  I think it would be cool to combine.

everyone who is concerned about hotel fees dont worry about it, im going to pay for a room or two depending on how many people plan on staying.
