If you actually get annoyed looking at my "art", please trust and believe me that I'm 10x's more annoyed than you are 'cause I'm the one drawing it and I usually have no idea what I'm doing the majority of the time.

So yeah. Drawing humans tend to be hit or miss. Usually misses.

'Cause from what I've figured out, humans aren't "paper cutouts" like animals. Humans come in all kinds of shapes and sizes (ex: tall skinny guy, blobbular fat guy, curvy lady, androgynous lady), but they're more subtle compared to animals (ex: giraffe, doggy, gator, ). So, it's pretty easy for me to exaggerate the shapes of animals (somehow; I don't even know how I do it), but for humans?

exaggerate and hyper-stylize = lose semblance of the reality it's supposed to resemble ("it'll look weird and strange, whether or not it's 'style'")
"dial it down"; attempt to draw from life = stiff, stiff, stiff, stiff, stiff; probably doesn't look a thing like the subject being drawn

Finished my geography HW at 5 AM. Drew pictures on BS'd HW that got an A on page 1 and the rest never got looked at.



I always found Entei to be the most boring of the legendary dogs... But he was somehow easy to draw. Raikou is my favorite 'cause I like tigers. Both Raikou and tigers are on the top of my list of animals I somehow never manage to draw right. I like how while drawing them, I learned that they (with the exception of Raikou) clearly had dog-ish structured faces.

I like the frog holding a ham holding a mouse holding a cupcake :] They are all flowing well together. Also I like the censor note between the women's legs lmao. But that sitcom premise was pretty UGH (no offense haha) I know that's not what you were showing but I read it anyways.

Love the sketches, especially the frog and totodile. I read the transcript as well, I think fantasy sitcoms need to stop, they is over saturated now.

I'm totally not offended at all that you don't like the sitcom premise! I definitely agree that it's blargh and undermotivated and I'm veeeerrryyy glad that the first premise for a short feature got accepted (it features superheroes and super villains, I'm sorry) instead of the "backup" premise (that piece of crap above).

Unless you count stuff like The Simpsons, Futurama, and Phineas & Ferb (), sitcoms just aren't my thing and I'm not funny enough to write 1 FUNNY joke per 15 seconds, which is actually industry standard-ish for sitcoms. In Comedic Writing class, we're graded on how funny we are. For the one assignment where we had to write a sitcom scene, I got a C-. The highest grade I got in that class was a B for writing a feature scene from the 1st premise I pitched.

Seinfeld is the only sitcom ever that managed to be consistently funny, to me atleast (aside from early Simpsons).

Also whats with all the Superhero and Supervillain  movies and stuff lately? I created Gerkinman before the whole genre exploded and now I feel like I cant do anything with it until the genre dies again.

Someone needs to make a sitcom with a family of talking babies with an obnoxious baby as the star, that would be SOOOO hilarious.

Art-wise, no idea. I'll think about it after I'm done writing it. As for the scene that got me a B, I'd upload the .pdf if I could.

Ha-ha man these are so great and so terrifying at the same time. I love the fact that you can change your voice into something that's so different from your normal voice and when I close my eyes and hear it I can totally see a character. But as I WATCH it coming out of a normal human I always made a face of  and think how is that voice coming out of a person? Haha anyways its great stuff Hnil and I really enjoy watching these to see how you get into character before reading the line too.

I attempt to try drawing characters that have been kinda bothering me (ex: a kickboxing rabbit, even though I don't know crap about drawing kickboxing) and pay a teensy bit more attention to what kinds of animal head shapes I've been using...



Then I give up again.

Maybe? I do see the similarities between the two, though I have to admit, there're quite a few people who draw a lot like Legendary Frog.
