tf2 jukebox

the TF2 jukebox is now working! this plugin is allows you to privately stream music from tba while you play the game. you can access it by saying !jb or !jukebox in-game. if no one has used it in a few hours, it may take 5-15 seconds for the menu to show up, so give it some time. from this menu you can select music by artist, album or genre, make playlists, browse popular and recently uploaded songs, change volume settings, stop playback and listen to other people's playlists. you can listen to other people's streams by saying !eavesdrop.

right now there isn't a lot of music in there. but i have set up an FTP account for you guys to upload your favorite music to it. the FTP info is as follows:

if you don't have an FTP client a free one like filezilla should do just fine. the size limit for the folder is 100MB, and i'm running low on disk space atm, so only upload 10 or 15 songs at a time. once you upload the songs to the folder, i will either approve or deny them. if approved, they will be moved from that folder to the tracks directory and you will be able to listen to them. if denied they will simply be deleted. i will deny files if they have crappy id3 tags (i can edit them but i don't have all day), or if they're poor quality.

there is a way to stream music to everyone, but it is limited to admins, so this can't be abused or anything. unless if j or myself feels like streaming lady gaga to all of you

the app might be able to play other formats but it doesn\\\'t say in the documentation and i don\\\'t feel like trying it right now

okay ya i've confirmed it only takes mp3's. that really shouldn't be a huge deal. if you do have some files you want to put in but don't know how to convert them just upload them anyway and i'll do it for you
