one of the newer eps where spongebob and patrick run a krusty krab cart and plankton flies around in a fist serving chum was really funny
and the one where patrick is king for a day was funny as well

they can still make a funny episode
its just like now for every funny one theres like 3 bleh ones

the patchy the pirate b-plot was lame, but they always have been. they did a couple cool things this episode - in particular the 1930's fleischer style segment. for a special it's better than usual, especially if you think about how bad atlantis squarepantis was
