i think im still reluctant to see it just because the character designs are so ugly. everyone has the same exact face or a big phallic looking nose
im sure its better than the trailer makes it look, but i still think the story looks bad. i dont have an issue with them modifying the story since there wasn't that much to work with in the first place, but i definitely think they could have thought of something more creative for a plot/main character. an inventor just seems really generic

also j, you're right that some movies have had better plots than their original sources, but just look at shit like the Dragonball Z movie, which completely raped the original plot and characters. i can think of a million other movies that have done this as well.
but whatever if its getting good reviews than its probably not that bad

well human charchters usually do look generic in most CG animated films especially like say Shrek or the humans from Wall-e
also not all the charachters look the same especially the mayor in the film and Flint's dad
most cgi movies dont have humans in them anyways

or friends at all. i watched this moster and aliens movie with a few friends of mine (+brother and friends of his) and we're all 18+, it was fun

anyways, thanks for the links jseed, I checked them out, they're all the same video file but on different websites. Sadly that video file has extremely bad quality, and after a while, you hear the sound before you see them talking. Kind of gay but thanks anyways.
I'll just wait for a DVD Rip.
