only like half of the songs are actually good imo

ive listened to it once and didnt like it at all

dunno if its a grower or not but its just same old muse on the initial listening. lyrics about space or whatever, "Myoouuuuuuuuuuuuuu" vocals and 'epic' guitars etc

Plus the bass and drums dont seem as prominent as on their older shit

lenko i think you stopped listening fully when the second part of the album came on because that part is really good

everything from i belong to you to the last part of the exogenesis symphony is amazing

mk ultra, unnatural selection, USE and unnatural selection are pretty good too

i guess i just have to listen to listen to the album more though, this exact same thing happened to me when i listened to octahedron and bedlam in goliath

my first impression is always bad because the albums are almost never what i expect and therefore i label them as bad immediately and then have to get used to them later

except in the case of i belong to you and the exogenesis symphony where it was so good that it bypassed my gayness

i said unnatural selection twice whoops
