Menu art for a little movie on the works, I plan to have the whole thing done by the end of the next month, the characters suck, but I wanted to put major emphasis into the background. It was my first time without texturaping. I like how it turned out.

If you came all this way down, I thank you and recommend you abort. I myself don't even know what the fuck is this shit or what I was thinking at that time. I also drew it on pen on a fucking school desk, I took a picture of it with a cell phone for no apparent reason, fuck me.

You're right, I'll probably end up deleting the characters and redoing them from scratch, I fucked up there, I can pull out pretty edible direct takes at characters, but later on, trying to experiment with facial features I end up messing up. I have a rough design on paper that looked way better, too bad my scanner broke or I could've used that, plus, I lost it, now, all I can do is remake the whole character layer.

Eyes go in the exact middle of the head. These eyes are about 2 and a half eyes too high up

Two faces - i can see the effort, but the proportions are WAY off. reference all the time if you're attempting realistic anatomy. all the greats do it. Just don't cross the line and trace. search 'profile view' and see how the human face looks when viewed from the side. draw what you see, not what you know.

Flash screenshot thing - Looks a little better, anatomy is still a little off, head is detailed but the body is sloppy, so it looks off. try and establish concrete character designs first.

The face is really cool and the style is something you could really expand on. Change the hat though, it looks a bit lazy

do it, the first two look really bad. the eyes need to be way further down and back, i mean your eyelids dont sit above the bridge of your nose. i dont like the pencil sketch at all either, the head shape, nose, lips, eyebrows, and shading all looks half assed. its obvious in the other ones that you're trying at least, but it kinda seems like you're trying too hard. learn more of the basics before you try to experiment.
the 2nd image is the best but the body looks god awful so just erase it. move the eyes down to the halfway point of the head, maybe move them in closer to the nose, thicken the eyebrows, and redraw the body (using a reference?) and it should look fine
