007 Goldeneye.

Oh, sure, the game's great for the first fifteen-some missions.

Then you get to the fucking Control level.

After busting your ass for fifteen minutes, you run into Boris. He greets you by pointing a gun to your face. My first instinct was to cap him in his balls, and that's exactly what I did. The game lets you play like nothing's wrong.

Then you meet up again with Natalya several minutes later, and she treats you like the biggest jackass in the world. Then she runs off and the mission ends in failure.

The fuck.

Oh god Goldeneye is a travesty of mission design. It's a classic game and i really do like playing vs with my buddies but HOLY SHIT, the objectives were worthless. You were given a list of exceedingly vague tasks, with no indication of how to complete them, and then dumped in some subterranean base to fulfill them however possible. If you screwed up on an objective, the game didn't tell you. You had to go all the way through the level and THEN it would tell you you had to restart. aaaaaaaaaaaa

Don't get me wrong it's a great game it just has a really fucked difficulty curve. Like you spend an hour or so killing easy thugs then you suddenly end up in a dark room with an invisible monster that can tear your hide in two seconds.

Hard to believe some people made mods to make it more realistic and harsh.

People have also made a mod that makes the game kick so much more ass. Just google Oblivion Lost MOD. It makes the game so much sweeter. However, it also makes it unbeatable because it makes it into an open ended game.

It's a good mod, the best part being the vehicles, saves you alotta time crossing the sections. But don't do what i did which is drive into one of those freaking anomalies that lifts you up and crushes you.
