i research the shit out of everything i buy as you can tell from my 500 posts about headphones. i guess my mom got a bad deal when she bought me Corpse Bride as a present cause she thought i'd like the animation.
thankfully it was balanced out with her also getting me Wall-e.

I have to seriously agree with the wii feeling kinda like a rip-off.

I guess it's because I only really liked No more heroes and that Okami port and once I got 100% on both of those there wasn't anything else but zelda, super smash bros., or mario. All of which I don't have that special nintendo fanboy love for and thus couldn't justify buying.

SSB is a damn good game

People just radically love/hate it because of the whole nostalgia thing

But as a standalone game, it's fucking excellent. I support SSB as much as I support PowerStone, JetSet and Gunstar.

Oh and the Ps2 had just as much shovelware (actually alot more) than your precious wii will ever accumulate. Seriously, maybe you are all too young to remember but walking through the aisle of PS2 games back when it was in its prime was like wading through a bucket of shit and piss. You dont get the good games in stores usually because people dont want whats good. they want whatever terrible mediocre crap they can give to their friends/kids/spouse on some special occasion.
