Alright, i haven't had much time for drawing lately, with me working a shitty job for the last 2 weeks, but i managed to get the following 2 pics done today. Hendrix was actually done for the God comp thread, but ill post him here anyways.

yeh, i know i know, this is actually an adaption of a comic i wrote for a competition i entered last years, which in itself was an adaption of something that happened to an old work mate.

I have done alot of vectors of photos of people, but i havent really tried drawing anything realistic in years, i should give that a go lol.

Ive toned down my colors over the years, my stuff was once upon a time some of the most colorful stuff on the internet, now ive done a bit of design work and the like ive learnt a little about color theory, tho obviously i have alot left still to learn.

I drew the pic for the contest, the guitar was an old asset i had.

I dont think there is anyone who can successfully make vector drawings the way you do.

Your style is very clean, almost elegant, wich gives a weird, cool combination because the characters are so "whacky" in shape.

I have seen a lot of your cartoons and it looks like this is the best technique for you. unlike in your "doors" music video where you kept the outlines. I still love it.

I would like to see some of the realistic stuff you mentioned. I imagine it must look pretty neat with that vector shading and stuff!!

No updates in a while, i haven't been able to do anything in a while, but the other day i started a short toon, and its already over half finished, so i though i would share a few screens.

i have one suggestion for the first shot - the boat looks like it's hovering over the water, or directly above it. you should indicate that it's partially submerged

Alright, so heres the scoop...

A local childrens Author is looking for an illustrator to illustrate his new series, each book contains 28 pages and there are 5 books in the series. The current illustrator is apparently autistic, and while good, has trouble completing anything, so threw networking and so forth he found me, and here i am doing a demo illustration for him, he asked for a pic of a kid looking over a fence at a monkey, so thats what i did, the colors are my usual sort but he didnt give me any context so i dont know if they suit the stories themselves. Anyway heres the original outline sketch and the final demo drawing.
