ixintro for the ep after this you should move on to a bit more frame by frame

its a lot less fiddly than having to keep track of like a million symbols

btw seeing as your eps are so graphic intensive why not export your toon to aftereffects and then export that as a vid that you can put in a .swf? that pretty much ensures no slowdown. bad example here but its what appsro does and he uses a LOT of filters etc that would usually cause loads of slowdown

You're right, I'll go download AfterEffects so I don't have to be stingy on the filters. Also, for the new episodes I've been animating, I've taken a lot of you guys' advice and started doing more frame-by-frame since I always named all the symbols "xcnvhdfghdfgf" and shit like that and it started getting really bulky and disgusting in the library. I've started trying to only use tweens for motions that need to be very smooth or have very little change in movement.

Just Tywo-ing it up!

Hey guys, I've got a completely NOT Tywo related cartoon I'm working on... About that morning wood guy. I whipped up the first few scenes last night at like 1 AM and I'm really happy with ohw they're turning out. I'm testing out a new style for backgrounds that I'm liking a lot more than the hairline drawings. And yeah, it's about 80% FBF.



I dunno, I still need to tweek him walking into the other room, it seems kind of rickety to me. I wanted it to be more frame-by-frame than tween so I broke it all apart when I was done. Also, the background behind the window is gray because I switched the background color so I could color his pants white.

Oh, no sound yet, but would you really want to hear that BEEP BEEP BEEP from the alarm on repeat?

Ok, just more stuff from the Jim Wood movie. I fixed the twitchy walk and I'm just tinkering with it. HAs more scenes now too. I also made the canvas size larger.

I'm starting to realize that too, maybe I'll just switch the style if I do more episodes of Tywo. This style's a lot more fun to draw in and it doesn't crash my computer as often as all the line tool drawings did.

Same goes for the FBF, you guys were right. This way is a lot more fun, since it's not as tedious as adjusting tweens and stacking symbols all the time.

Lmao lenko. Yeah, I decided to have him be the type of character who never opens his eyes. Gives a lot of definition to the character, very quickly I guess. And I'm probably going to stick with this style from now on, even though it's a little more intricate.
