Portal Defenders is a big piece of shit, polished to look like a gem. The gameplay has been tweaked to be fun for the programmer, who obviously knows all the ins and outs of the game. Sure, you can look at the walkthrough, but then you're a huge faggot, and if you spend more than 10 minutes playing the game, you're investing time into learning a useless game that's no fun. It's like eating a really dry chicken when there is moist chicken all around that you can enjoy right now. The learning curve wouldn't even be acceptable as a console game. It's just plain bullshit and the game takes place in the same goddamn room, fighting against enemies who have longer range than you and instant reaction times, your only option for success is to use tactics that only make sense due to the characters inability to point up and down, or risk getting caught in an infinite combo getting double teamed by either side.

It's pretty good for the internet I guess

Other than the fact that Newgrounds Rumble has a small character list, and dosent support 4-man multiplayer, I dont see anything wrong with that game. NG Rumble just seems like one of those get together games like Super Smash Bros or those wrestling titles (providing you were under the age of 10 during the 90s).

The creator of the game wasn't creative enough to come up with a premise that is not basically a cheap attempt to suck up to the site it was posted on.

Is it really that hard to think of original characters and not make a game that is about newgrounds?


There is no quality control settings at the off chance that it will lag on shittier computers.

It also lacks a password engine, saves or anyway to pick up from where you left off.

I only played one or two levels because it's the same as every other beat em game i played as child anyways.
