.flaswf

This was a quick assignment for my Digital Compositing class, our first assignment specifically to be done in Flash. The only specifics given were that it needed two characters interacting with each other. I went through a couple ideas and eventually settled on this one, with an .fla and .swf file as a father and son, meeting their maker in multiple ways. Thoughts?

Nice lip syncing

What did...'Neo C' do to the .fla file exactly?
<emanhattan> i remember pingu ice cream
<emanhattan> it was a better time
<emanhattan> when the penguins were cold and delicious

<emanhattan> consequence free

Kirbopher

Thanks :] I think he was aiming for us to use symol animation with the lipsynch too, like stock images of mouths that we would make, but I figured this'd be good practice since I have to do so much synch for the movie all the time.

He clicked and opened the file, launching flash.

I don't get the "I'm the daddy this time" but besides that it was actually well made.

it's better than superflashbros' recent crap about filetypes but cartoons about files in general kind of make me go

Funny idea but it looks like you have half assed the whole animation. Also I hate the background of the father and son.

lenko

oh yeah the gradients in the backgrounds looked really tacky

I mean 'my first lesson in flash' tacky

The background for the two files is supposed to be the basic Windows BG with the hills and sky. Couldn't think of anything super inventive offhand for the NEO-C background, the shifting gradients weren't meant to be clever. I'll probably put in something better looking for the little intro I use that for later.

Ahhhh i can see it now

I'd have done the .fla as an egg and the mouse as a sperm. and they morph into a little baby .swf

Some friends of mine said the end was creepy enough, didn't wanna push it TOO far XD

by the way, it was nice

Kirbopher

Read: It was for a class, it wasn't made "for" NG.
