when you have achievements

don't bother with the zombies at all and try to get the best combos you can get on wadolf
even if you beat the zombies wadolf will summon more so that there are three on-screen. if anything, use your bombs to stagger them

the entire game can be much easier if you stop approaching enemies from the front/back and just go from the side

I think jeff/stamper is a pretty easy boss fight

beating the shit out of utah is not hard if you approach him from the side, so just move around to get him far from baloon-stamper, do a combo and get out

when there's only stamper left, just jump and pop him then start pressing A without being too close to him (otherwise he'll always knock you down with his cyclone attack thing)
