Some day I'll start catching up with myself.

Not only that, but I'm going to be naturally inclined to hate my comics because... well, I dunno, I'm just never fully satisfied with the stuff I produce.  It's what motivates me to put the effort into improving the next one.

before you start up your own webcomic you should decide whether you want to focus on being an artist or a writer
decide between those two and focus on that for a while before attempting to be both. not everyone has the talent to be legitimately funny AND a kickass artist, and you shouldn't let one get in the way of the other - bad writing can ruin good art and vice versa, so either way your work is gonna look worse than it actually is.

I have fun doing them and they're good practice for drawing and whatnot.

Plus, when you have a whole move to shoot your gun, you can take all the time in the world to aim.

i\\\'ve discovered the dragons with pom poms formula:

panel 1: setup

panel 2: something irrelevant, random and hilarious

panel 3: stunted resolution / bad punchline

in all seriousness though the 2nd one was way better than the 1st one

you already have two comics too close to eachother that both involve toothpaste
