What I meant Billy was that they completely finished off what little was left of Dragon Ball, although I agree with you that GT was a piece of shit that began the end of the franchise. Yeah, Dragon Ball has been around for a long time, and they try to keep it alive by pulling out all kinds of shit out of their ass.

Saw the movie. Got my childhood bombed, therefore I now know how Hiroshima feels.

Seriously: It sucks BALLZ. Even Toriyama said it's crap, and everyone in japan is bashing it. The whole thing is cliché as hell, and uses the typical hollywood (hero's journey) structure. Also, I'm not usually a guy who cares about how good a CGI is cos i mostly neglet and hate these type of effects, but WHERE IN THE HELL DID THAT 100mill USD$ GO? Was it like, 85 for marketing and 15 for the movie? I so thinks so.. or rather they're mimicking Mr. Boll, and using it as a money laundering service.

i doubt you've actually seen the movie because you've described so many details that only someone who hasn't seen the movie would bring up

these details have been bolded. the most extreme ones have been underlined as well

if you actually saw the movie, tell me about the movie. like, content in the movie that is lacking in quality, not shit you've read on the internet

Dragonballs being called trinyumorb(?), people using JEDI powers, boob flashing assasins, bad overdubbing of japanese and english sentences, lame jokes, smartass gohan, weak characters, ballett and salsa practicing martial artists, effects with the quailty of the mortal kombat movies, cost friendly sets, way too fast paced scenes having no dramatic effect at all, goku's transformation being more werewolf than a monkey, piccolo commanding goku with only words, edited and mixed transformers and star wars sounds, slow motion, peter parker as the main charachter, strawberry + chichi, a T-rex shaped snake as Shenlong, a shitty ending.

everything but "bad overdubbing of japanese and english sentences" and "a shitty ending" is "boo hoo it isn\\\'t like the anime"

not saying it doesn\\\'t suck, but there\\\'s more to a movie sucking than "it\\\'s shitty"

If you adapt something, then why not make it appropriate? If you don't want to do that, then leave the original material alone or atleast give it another name, because it CLEARLY says that this IS a DRAGONBALL movie, yet it's not. And the ending IS shitty and clichéd.

Also, if you watch the movie, you'll understand how ridiculus the whole thing is. James masters is a bad director.

And seriously, I don't fucking know what you want to hear from me.
